Balding Cadance figure O_o
« on: February 03, 2013, 01:31:16 PM »
So I bought the wedding set last August, and because we were set to move out within a few weeks of my purchase I packed it with the rest of my things without de-boxing. Since I just got Luna and Celestia recently, I've been itching to dig out my wedding castle and get the 3 together... only problem is, Cadance is bald on the top of her head!  I compared her with with my Luna and it is WAY off *sigh* looks like I'll have to find myself another Cadance  >_< anyone else notice this issue with this mold?

just rechecked mine , they do not appear to be like yours.
there is a very small gap from the horn to the mane line, just enough space for the crown to be placed :)

Hasbro might replace it for you , just send them an email. I'm sure they can do something

I just checked mine and it has a gap that is bigger than i would like but not horrendous. I am assuming it is probably somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately i can' t take any pics at the moment : (

Alicorn Pattern Baldness. Tragic at such a young age, but these things are hereditary. Hopefully the children will have their father's hair.

I don't have her yet, so I'm sorry I can't be any real help! I just can't resist a little jab at baldness, my husband, nephew, brother, father.... all balding!
Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!

Oh dear! I am sure she will still look lovely if her hair is styled perhaps?

Unfortunately that's the nature of relatively inexpensively made products which are being mass produced for as little as possible per unit - mistakes and mix-ups are going to happen.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Cool, thanks for checking yours for me :) When I compared her with my Luna I knew something wasn't quite right! i doubt I'll write to Hasbro, they'll just send me some random item in exchange :P

No problem! I was just curious if anyone else experienced this same factory error ^.^

LOL!!! Okay, you win for best reply :D

yeah :P unfortunately all of the Alicorns have that, I think it just happened to be a poor choice in where the mould of the figures cut off

Yeah, that's pretty much my stance on it. I've definitely come to expect a flaw or two here and there with the G4's, so more than anything I found it amusing XD It's not like she's an uncommon figure, I'm sure I can find another no problem :)

Thanks very much for the replies, everyone!
