Hey guys!  Thistle Bristle is a simple, little Thistle custom I started around Halloween last year, but only recently finished.  I dig the flowering Thistle plant, even though the native species we have here is considered a nuisance weed.  She was re-haired in approximately 10-15 DH scrap colors I had blended and had leftover from other customs.  She has purple fiber yarn tied around her tail to mimic the Thistle bristles. Thanks so much for looking! :)

She is lovely, sometimes simple can be stunning.  Love Thistles, such a neat plant and it attracts some fun bird species too.

Wow. I'm not sure which I love more: the wonderful job you did on painting, or the fabulous job you did with her hair.

I don't think she looks simple at all!  The thistle design is so intricate and realistic.  I love her eyes and her multi-dimensional hair.  Wow.  The purple fiber yarn is the perfect finishing touch.  Awesome custom, just gorgeous. x

The colors and the painting are wonderful!  I normally dislike customs with orange in them, but it works so wonderfully with the paintwork and the hair blend!
