Do you care if they are White?

I've been unpacking ponies and have found most of my so called 'White' Ponies are no longer stark white - and you know what? I'm OK with that. These toys are 30 years old - ponies that I've gotten that were bright white when I've gotten them have gone more creamy white now -but I'm not fussy about that anymore. Face any toy that is close to 30 years old and is still stark white either never was loved in the first place or is a fluke. So I'll take my creamy white ponies - to tell the truth I don't think they were made pure white in the first place - I mean look at the difference between the plastic Sundance is made of and say Moondancer is made off - looks like two different materials.

So who else has given up finding early ponies that are 'pure white' and are happy with the creamy white?

Oh yes, I decided to face facts a long time ago about white ponies. Heck I have a Starshine that is almost brown lol but I don't mind

Not me. I love snow-white ponies, and I will continue to hunt for them!

I prefer them really white, but I don't care that much if they're a little off white.

This really means nothing to me.  The white pony will not stay white unless you put it in an air tight container out of any light source.  I would just rather enjoy my collection white or yellow they will all end up that way eventually anyway.

I do not care, reason for is the age of the pony. Plastic is one thing that does age and it shows. So I would give a loving some to a off white pony anyday

I'm not a mint collector so off white ponies come with the territory.

I accept my off white ponies as they are. They are 30 years old, after all.

Meh I've come to terms with the fact that my white ponies will eventually discolor. If it ever starts to really bother me I could try to sun fade otherwise they just are what they are.

I'm not very picky. if a pony happens to be bright white - great! but i will not be bothered if they aren't anymore. I only mind when they get too brown/yellow/grey

I'm okay with buying them cream coloured since I could always make them whiter myself if it bothers me that much.

I get a little sad when I see them turned bad browns but I would not reject a good pony I wanted for it.  I prefer them to be whiter but do not expect them to be snow white anymore.  I have a muddy brown Glory that I have not tried to whiten but keep meaning to.  Never bothered with it before

I WANT them to be white of course- and do mind just a little when they have faded, but wouldn't get rid of or not collect a G1 pony because of it...

Most of my Starshines are stark white and a lot of people think they weren't white to begin with. They definitely were. I don't mind if they are off-white, the problem is they usually have cancer and/or symbol rust and plastic breakdown when they start to brown.

I love my childhood off-white Glory and so does my niece who plays gently with her.
