:edit: The reason I need to pick a name (and why I am waffling all over the place) is that I am now a professional mermaid. The first photoshoot is in two weeks, so I need to have my name by then for the promotional materials.

It is a secret as to the reason I need a name for a mermaid, but I'd like y'all's opinions/suggestions.

Feel free to comment with any you think I might like!

(the other people that are in on this want "river names" but I have not really found a river whose name I am in love with)

(also, I promise to reveal what with is about in the future)

Rosemarie. I've looked up its meaning and it means Dew of the sea.

Latin "Rosmarinus officinalis"; "ros", meaning dew, and "marinus", meaning
sea.

Rosemarie is generally thought of as either a Latin or German name. If you think of it as just sticking Rose and Mary together then you have a different origin and meaning, but I by far prefer the Rosmarinus officinalis origin.

I've always liked these names, maybe they need a middle name to be proper mermadian sounding, but I find them to be uniquely German, Brunhilda and Catarina.

I like Eulalie. But I'm also partial to that name since one of the most awesome pets I ever met/lived with was named that.

Miranda maybe, because Shakespeare references are the best.

I like Eulalie and Lenore, but possibly varied slightly to "Lenora" so that it flows with the last name.
