Tackled a pony from ''the box''
« on: January 28, 2013, 04:05:33 AM »
I think most of us have ''the box'' - containing ponies that need TLC and sit patiently waiting for us to make them beautiful again.

Well the other day I decided to tackle the box head on! Poor old Stripes was a frizzy mess!!

Well to the bathroom we went and after ALOT of anti frizz conditioner and hours separating her strands into their correct colours here she is!

Tada! Not the biggest make over by any means but im proud of her

Gorgeous! Well done! :D

I know what you mean with that box! I still have loads left!
I need to tackle my stripes and see if it will turn out as amazing as yours!
Did you use the regular boil curl with straws method? :)

Thankyou

Yep boil perm it was: anti frizz shampoo, anti frizz conditioner, wrap around straws, held by bobby pins, boiling water for a few seconds, under the cold tap and left to dry and set overnight  :)

She looks absolutely amazing!!! I have 'the box' too ( with mostly G3s mind) but I am scared to look in it because if I do I will have to spend my entire day sorting them out :yikes:

Yep, I have "the box" too. I've been tackling it one pony at a time, and it ranges from ponies that need rehairing and fixed mechanisms to ponies that just have really really messy hair that I haven't gotten around to grooming yet!

Anyway, Stripes looks really nice! It's so satisfying to have a pony coming away from a spa treatment looking nice.

She looks great! I love this set of ponies too. The only ones I have ever had have been in bait condition. I used to have the box, but then I felt guilty and gave them away to other members some time ago to get loved properly.

Thank you lovlies!! Ive just put her up for sale on evilbay, again at ''the box''............my.........theres a lot of conditioner and magic erasers needed in there!! If theres one pony that seems to get the rough end of the stick its poor old flutters!! How does their hair get into such a mess?

Btw had to edit a previous post instead of putting 'anti frizz shampoo'' I put ' ant fizz'  probably not a good idea!

She looks divine! I have the box too. Full of frizzy, dirty, tail-less ponies. I can't bear to look in it anymore; their accusing eyes bore right into my soul!
