A co-worker's daughter's birthday is in early Feb, and he asked me a couple days ago to make a "Penny" pony for her since her nickname is Penny. I'm going out of town at the end of this coming week, so I had to finish the pony this weekend because of all the trip prep I still have to do. He drew me the cutie mark he wanted, asked for Penny-colored hair (if I couldn't do that, rainbow hair) and to have penny-colored airbrush gradients on her legs. My airbrush ended up pooping out on me, so I wasn't able to do the gradients, and I had to make a blend of hair that wasn't quite what I think he wants, so ended up making a second pony to hopefully makeup for the slight problems with the original Penny pony.
Penny was painted with acrylics, rehaired with DH Golden Goddess, Copper Chocolate, and Sunlight. She was accented with swarovski crystal elements, and her hair was pinned with swarovski elements beads and then curled.

My idea was that instead of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it's a treasure of pennies. Her saddle was sculpted with Milliput and she was painted with acrylics. She was rehaired with DH Candy Apple, Marmalade, Yellow Fever, Lucky Clover, Forget Me Not and Ultraviolet. She was accented with swarovski element crystals.
