Iris is my long overdue part of a trade with Pandabear_chan - this little lady has caused me months of despair and anguish!
I won't go into how many times I have resprayed her body colours, or redone her sculpting.... needless to say, TONNES of work went into this girl :) So I am very glad to know she is loved at her new home ^.^

Sculpting is done with Magic Sculpt over a wire mesh frame. The whole thing has been sanded till she is nice and smooth.
Airbrushed using custom mixed, pastel colours. Stripes and eyes hand painted - all done with artist grade acrylics.
Sealed with Dullcote, triple thick on the eyes.
Oh! And her head still turns :)

Holy wow!  You have the patience of a saint woman!!  I can't imagine how many weeks of work went into this gal, but they paid off!  She looks better than factory smooth and those colors are amazing!

Wow! She looks so smooth! It must have taken you ages to achieve that finish. She's gorgeous!
