And what is meant by "waterpaint" anyway?  Watercolour paint, water-based paint or something else?  Is it liquid?  Solid?

Watercolour paint. The one kids often use.  :)

I have no idea what kids use, sorry!  Do you have a picture?

This is what I use...http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cotman-Watercolor-Paint-Tube-Alizarin-Crimson/dp/B000OL3TGC

Although I believe the standard red colour which comes in most children's watercolour sets works just as well. You get 2 base watercolour reds - you need to make sure you pick the crimson based one as the other is too red.

And here is a link to the old thread with a couple of tutorials http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,307703.0.html

The water color paint looks like a much closer match! I'll have to pick some up and try it out on my Posey :)

I just got a NSS Wind Whistler with very white hair and decided to try out the water color repinking on her :) I think she turned out beautiful :inlove: It's actually a bit darker in person, I think the flash on the camera made it a bit lighter :)

Woah!!  Cool!  I just found some tubes of water colors at home.  Anyone try those for a dip dye thing a la Dabble?  Did that make sense?
