Valentines Day!

Ugh, getting Valentine's presents for boys is the hardest!  I usually get my hubby something video game related, or a CD he has wanted (ok, that was back in high school when we all still used CD's, lol).  Last year, I found a chocolate football, which was good for a giggle.  These days, I just make a nice dinner and we watch a movie.  Maybe it would be a nice treat for him if YOU took HIM out to dinner.

Ha, my husband and I usually just exchange cards.  I know, we're so romantic.

I kind of don't celebrate it. I just do it smallish because my boyfriend likes it, but we don't exchange gifts or anything. Usually, if we both have days off, we go for a walk, have a nice dinner and then watch a movie at home. If we work (we have odd hours) we just kisskiss and tell each other "see ya later" and goes on with our life.

We don't exchange gifts for Valentine's Day, except the years when he's not home. In that case I usually send him a huge box full of candy and some kind of entertainment.

He's home this year, so we decided to skip gift-giving. I'm doing a swap and we got cleaned out at Christmas, so I'm not ready to do gifts again. For the day itself we have a previous engagement we have to attend, so I'm going to make Valentine's Day pretzels covered in white chocolate and sugar sprinkles for him and his co-workers. Saturday night we're going to our favorite restaurant for a nice dinner.

I'd just go with something like that and maybe some sort of small, homemade gift. Last year my husband was out of town, so I made him 52 Reasons I Love You. You can check out Pinterest and see what people are making for their loved ones, there are lots of great ideas.

Sometimes we make a minor fuss over it, other times we don't. We're flexible either way. Exchange cards now and then, and then there are other things that will make for a happy Mr. Stomper.

Our anniversary is on 6th Feb, so we don't give much importance to Valentine's Day xD

I am, however, giving him a small box of Godiva chocolates, as that was the same gift he got me the first V-Day we had together

He has NO idea HOHOHOHOHO~
