They're MLP to me Anything in the shape of a pony (ie if it's a pony figure, be it a pomander, a stamper etc) then it's a pony and I will collect it I don't collect all merch but if it's a 3D pony then it's MLP and needs to be mine lol

They're the "grown-up" versions of ponies, so I consider them to be no different than the ponies themselves.  Modern day G4's version would be Celestia - slightly different, but still very much pony.  Bigger, different, still equine, still pony.  I also consider Petite ponies to be ponies too. 
I didn't like Dream Beauties much when they first came out- I thought they looked too much like Breyer horses or Fantasy Fillies.  Glitter and sparkles eventually changed my mind though.  Here's my set:visitors can't see pics , please register or login
