I found this cute wooden treasure chest looking craft box at Michael's going for about $2 (they have a few smaller and bigger) that looked like a perfect size for my dolls, so I grabbed one. Might get a few more in the future. I even bought a small pouch of chocolate coins to put into it.

I even found these cute little pencil topper erasers for a dollar at Target that looked the perfect size!

Avery: We were over at the polka dot background and heard a loud thump and decided to see what it was all about.
Sophina: Are we getting actual room backdrops soon??
Me: Maybe...Who knows...Give it time!
I pretty much got a trifold and chopped it in half to be the right height to become a room for my dolls! So now to paint and decorate them and then they can finally have a place to be in instead of using that same thin blanket or spare bed sheet for a backdrop. (hopefully it'll all go according to plans. >,>; *Crosses fingers*)

Thanks everyone! I haven't gotten started yet with school and all, but I am praying that it turns out right! I have the paint and everything ready

Usually when it's not any of the Canon/official story threads, I let them break the 4th wall now and then. If this project goes perfectly or close enough, I plan to start from scratch and actually have story threads with a plot and have them go in chronological order and such. Like how Capri comes into the story, maybe a background intro of each girl or how some girls will come into the series as the "new girl", you know, kinds like that.

In case anyone is interested in how some of the rooms would look; here's a small "reference" I might go by when I do get the chance to do it. (windows are just a test I was trying. )

-Avery's room
-Lexa & Capri's room
-Kellan's room
-Park/field/backyard
-Underwater/idea maybe for inside painted walls of Lexa's family's Restaurant.

-Blank in case anyone get's bored and wanna try to make one too or something.

This is basically their room and all, but I have no idea what to decorate it with! I was thinking of adding like a gold trim on the line where the two colors meet. Adding a "window" but I have no exact idea of what else. Maybe some of you can throw ideas of what to put into their room!

Salli had a furniture challenge going way back when.  The people who participated would MAKE little doll sized stuff and post pictures and tutorials and stuff like that.  It was very inspiring, and towards the end they put all the things together to make a room.  So pretty!

I'm gonna see if I can find a link for you.  It will inspire you WAY more than I can
