Wave 3 BBs Sprinkle Stripe Variant/Error? (Plus location of found Wave 3 BBs)

First off, Houma, LA Walmart on Martin Luther King has ALOT of Wave 3 blind bags on clearance.

Anyways...decided I needed to pick up another Sprinkle Stripe since the first one had a smudged hoof and cracked ear...and the weirdest part? DIFFERENT SHADE!!! Both mane and coat!!!

Variant or not, I'm keeping both!!! This is a rare find by me!!!

That is really interesting. For a while I thought I had pony variants (between the Toys R Us set and wave 5), too because my Gardenia Glows and my Skywishes both had different shaded counterparts. No one else seemed to have found the same thing with theirs though, so I think it is just that the factories tend to be pretty inconsistent with their colours.

Nice. I notice how both of them have a lighter shade than the other. Really hard to tell with Gardenia Glow at first, but looking closely it showed.

Skywishes seems more Pinkish than Purple and Gardenia Glow has a lighter shade of teal and leaning towards green a bit.

Congrats on finding a different version

I cant even imagine the sheer numbers of these items produced so I don't think its too surprising that we come across shade differences but such a difference is great to add to your collection! For the price to buy a blind bag, can you imagine how cheap they are to produce - I dont think pantone matches or precise shades are too high on the priority list sometimes.

Wow...took a bit to notice on Berryshine. More pinkish than purple
