Those babies are brilliant! I would love them! Question, what paint do you use  To paint the ponies bodies so smoothly?? They look so good and no brush marks!  :what:

honestly nothing super fancy. i typically try to use Folk Art brand for nostolgic reasons (my grandmother did a lot of painting and that was her go-to brand) but if another brand has a color that matches closer ill use that too.

the trick with brushstrokes is to add a few 'brushfulls' of water to the paint to thin it down... do a coat- wait for it to dry, add another brushful or two of water to the remaining paint and add another coat against the grain of the previous strokes (so basically keep changing the direction of your brushstrokes) and keep going til your paint is thinner and thinner and youre basically just building up layers of washes. takes patience and even more patience. youll want to seal the bodies before you do symbols so if you mess up the symbol and need to wipe it off with some water you dont have to patch the body.
