I Wanna See Your Funniest/Weirdest Doll

I love unusual dollies! I nabbed these two at a flea market. They are called 'Taro Patch' dolls. Hands down, the weirdest, funniest dolls I own.

OMG they are strange! lol - I am not a doll fan, but I think even I would have picked those up due to sheer weirdness factor.

I only own one doll, an original MH frankie, that is all lol. She's not even weird

I think the weirdest dolls I have are my Peruvian Strawberry Shortcake dolls.  They are WAY huge (compared to the tiny 5" dolls most of us know) - and a couple of them even have push-button talk mechanisms (which are super creepy).

I know they are licensed dolls too, because I have found a few with their packaging over the years- confirming that they were made by BASA licensed by Kenner...

Now I LOVE Jem dolls- but I think they (at least the vintage dolls) look a bit mannish too for some reason

The 'Taro Dolls' were only released in Hawaii, I believe, and I want to say they weren't on the market long as Cabbage Patch sued them pretty quickly for copyright violations!!! I found all of this out after my research on the bizarre purchase I had made!! LMAO They are some of my favorite dolls! "Taro Patch!" Come'on!!!
  I love how SSC dolls smell!! I want to eat them all! LOL Are the bigger dolls scented? Maybe they are easier to resit if they are huge! LOL

Omg! I'm so jealous of your Emerald, Ember! I've wanted one for so many years.

If it counts, my weirdest doll would be this little guy who I made myself. A dolly friend of mine suggested I try making a dog doll (after I made my first two human ones). It went horribly wrong and this little mutant was born! I was originally going to send him to said friend but he's really grown on me. xD I'll have to make her a new one!

All of his legs and tail are poseable (though getting them to hold one is very hard). He actually sits really well and is surprisingly photogenic!

Haha! Thank you! I adore him. My boyfriend thinks he looks like a terrifying Silent Hill monster. I think that makes him better. xD

And if you (or anyone else) decide you really want one I'd be happy to make one for really cheap, like $6 shipped to just cover materials + shipping. I kinda want to make an army of weird little creature dolls.
