This is Lumi, created for Kaoskat in the 2012 Winter Swap. I'm a little late with pictures.
She reached her home eons ago and Kat seemed pleased.
Kat's list for the swap mentioned that, while she loves snow, she lives in a place that doesn't see any. I decided to combine the idea of snow with lights and sparkles--other things that appeared on her likes and things that I happen to like too.

loginShe started out as a molded-wing Starcatcher that some enterprising young artist took a pen to. I painted white snowflakes and frost patterns and "lights" on top of that. After several layers of glitter and some odd glitter-stuff from my grandmother's house that looks like small glass beads (it reminded me of snow), I sealed her a couple of times with Testor's Dulllcote.
Lumi was rehaired with several hand-blended colors. I don't remember the names, but I used a white, a pink, a blue, a yellow, a green, and a lot of Starlight. She looked a little plain, so I added a braid, some metallic embroidery thread, and a chandelier crystal. To finish, I sculpted some treats from Apoxie Sculpt, painted them, and repainted a G3 MLP serving tray to put them in.
Apologies for the picture quality, and thank you for looking!
