Definitely an amazing deal!! I'm super curious as to where it was originally displayed that would lead it to have that sticker... O3O

Hmm, it does say UK, but I'm confused.  The American release came with Baby Sister, while the UK release came with both Sister and Brother.  Right?
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

In the UK, the families were sold as sets AND sold individually on cards. I'm not sure if the families sold in sets came with both babies... it's possible that the second baby was only available individually. Maybe some UK collectors can give a definitive answer. ;)

As for a price, I'd guess maybe $80-100.

Not sure what the value would be but I think you did very well :)

I'm from the UK and one of my strongest pony memories as a child is of my dad taking me to TRU to spend my birthday money and me wanting a family set (the Apple Delights) Unfortunately I didn't quite have enough to buy the family set so opted to get each of the separately sold babies which were: Baby sister Apple Delight, and Baby brothers Bright Bouquet and Sweet Celebrations. I don't recalled seeing any other to others sold on card as if I did I would have gone straight for one of the Daddies.

Definitely all four of each family were available separately. I have heard rumours that all four were sold as a set, but I have never seen any evidence of that (have seen a couple of sets with three). As a child I had a set of three from the US, and then between me and my sisters we had a few sold individually. Does  it say where the ponies were made? I d don't think the box ever has a plastic front, just the bubble they're in in the packet.

I am intrigued by the not for resale sticker - do you remember where you were when you got it? I have a boxed princess that I bought from a toy collector in Wokingham that had previously had a large label on the back (that had then been badly removed) and I wonder if that had come from the Hasbro offices as a display model. Incidentally, I lived in Wokingham until I was about 20 :)

Tentatively I would agree with   $80-100 also, though the not for resale sticker may up it a little.

I agree with LadyG, from what I believe we got the 4 on individual cards and then the boxed set which only ever came with [for the Bright Bouquets anyway] the Baby Sister.

The Loving Families sets do not come with anything other than the bubble to protect them - there is not another level of protection.

The "not for resale" could have been a product in house at Hasbro, a shop display or more likely it was a sales tool used for pitching the product to retailers.

I would put them around the $75-80 mark. I am not really certain the promotional sticker adds that much more to it - perhaps $10-20 I would guess.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
