The Red Roses Appreciation Thread (Pic Heavy!)

As some of you may know, I'm a devout fan of the G1 pony Red Roses. I have a little army of them, and I love them dearly! Unfortunately they spend a great deal of time in a shoe box in my closet because I'm too afraid their hair will fade if I leave them out on display!

Anywho, tonight I took them out of their little shoe box and decided to do an impromptu photoshoot. Below are the photos.

However, I'd really like to see photos of your Red Roses as well. Just as importantly, tell me why you love her so much!

This is the first one I ever got, Kitty. I bought her in a lot of all six Perfume Puffs. I believe they shipped from the UK. Kitty is my favorite of them all. She's named after the character from Anna Karenina.

Here is mine! I didn't have Red Roses when I was a child, but I did have Lavender Lace. So when I discovered her five sisters, I gained a fondness to all of the perfume puffs, especially Red Roses.

Very lovely. I have noticed that all my girls have slightly different textured hair, and judging by the sheen yours has, hers is probably most like my Delta's. Delta is the only one of all my girls who has a forelock that has the sheen (you can see it in the photo), and some of her perfume hair is like that as well. I wonder if it's a factory thing...

I like the one nicknamed Lulu the best, she has the same hair texture    as my only two perfume puff Daisy Sweet and Sweet Lily

Tuney, your Red Roses army was the first army I'd ever seen on the Arena.  They are all just gorgeous:).  I love how they are all so different and all magnificent.  Your beauties clearly inspire awe and maybe a little *jealousy*, but that's the price you pay for being fabulous.  I don't own any PP gals, but I truly appreciate your army.

It's very factory to me, like she just came out of the box or something. Some of my PP hair has been brushed and brushed and brushed and you can tell, they have major afros, hahaha!

I don't have a Red Roses, but I REALLY want one! (I hope it's ok to say that I want one with manky hair so I can rehair with regular pony hair I love Red Roses' color, pose, and symbol so much, but I'm not a huge fan of the poof hair )

Erm, that being said, she is one gorgeously fabulous pony and so delicate and feminine! I would love to add her to my herd one day

i finally got her back again, just after christmas she arrived
i had her when i first started out collecting as an adult and i was only into the early mlp's or mlp's i wanted as a kid so i sold her for $10, always regretted it but now she is mine again and got her at a real great price so all is well in the universe again
