I was bribed by a coworker with a pony! lmao

So I've been really sick lately and because of it, I haven't been able to eat. Anything I did came back up and the site of food made me nauseous.. And on top of it all, I've been SUPER Dizzy.

I'm horrible at calling off though so I forced myself to work anyway. Well, my friend T (i feel weird using her real name on the internet ) who is also kind of my supervisor(She directs the cashiers), forced me to sit down and told me to eat. I insisted I couldn't but she pulled a My Little Pony out of the returns bin by the registers and told me if I forced myself to eat a whole sandwich, she would get it for me. It was so funny! It was hard though, because with each bite I felt more and more sick. But I ended up eating! And sure enough she bought me Glimmer Wings Fluttershy 

Anyone else ever been bribed with Ponies??

most of the time it was "Rocío! do this or I will throw away your pony!" obviously, I never believed them, so that way of working things out didn't help xD

Oh absolutely xD I know it's happened at least a few times before, but I can only remember one specific occasion at the moment. My little sister works at a retail store that has its own credit card, and if she manages to convince enough customers to open a certain amount cards she gets some pretty nice rewards. Well, she called me at work one day and asked if I could PLEASE come by her work on my home. When I asked her why...you got it, she wanted me to open a credit card! I suppose the deadline was approaching, and there was a pair of really expensive jeans she wanted that she could only afford if she got the reward coupon for opening up so many numbers of customer credit cards.

 Now, this is a store that targets a very specific type of demographic, and it's certainly not me xD But what did she say I'd get out of the deal? You got it. Ten bucks to head on over to the Target right behind her work to go buy myself a pony So what did I do? Yes, I am a wonderful older sister...who loves ponies, and drove on over and opened up a card. And got approved. Oy. I've been buying jewelry so at least it doesn't go to waste!

I used to use ponies as rewards when my daughter was younger.  So common around here.

I may have been bribed when I was younger.  The "if I get you this, you have to blah blah blah" type thing.  Whether or not I kept that promise, well, I've conveniently forgotten. XP

I've tried jokingly bribing with ponies on people who didn't care much for them.  My step-father doesn't like them but I think I bribed him with Pinkie Pie; he wouldn't have it.  It was funny to try though!

I feel your pain, so much! I've not been wanting to eat because of the nausea either. Can't say I've tried the pony-bribe approach yet. Your manager sounds like she really cares about people as people, not just as employees, that's so nice!

Oh, wait, tell a lie. I got through an aptitude test for a job, and rewarded myself with a G4 from the sales shelf in a toy shop, I was going to get another one if I made it through the interview unscathed. The interview was fine but my parents are convinced I botched it because I left my ear piercings in. I got shouted at (I'm 23 by the way) for so long that the toy shop had shut by the time I got out of my parents' place of work. LOVELY.

Oh yeah...lol. I'm thirty years old and my father will still be like "If you do this I'll buy you a pony!" And, well, who in their right mind passes up free ponies? I also reward myself with them, especially right now for losing weight. I'm trying to drop fifteen pounds by my birthday at the end of April. One BB pony per pound! I owe myself five when I get paid next.
