Info on Tux N Tails

I am still remarkably uninformed when it comes to playset ponies and mail orders etc.

Question? is there a difference between the "Coat N Tails" version and the later release? I know he was sold as himself, with Satin N Lace and in the party pack? Is one more valuable then another? Are there physical differences?

I have two of him and one says "China" on one hoof and my other says "Hong Kong" on his. Not sure if those are the differences in release year. I just ended up with a duplicate.

Aye, mine says China too. Honestly I never looked before now. I always just assumed it was HK. I wonder if that does tell anything?

No he is the same pony He was called Coat n Tails on his original offer and there in after he was renamed to Tux n Tails. No difference in the pony just in what he was called. Perhaps Hasbro thought Coat n Tails wasn't a recognisable enough name for him. There will be a reason for the change but honestly we don't know what it is. He was available through various mail order offers and when he was available was across year 5 to year 7 when Hasbro changed its third party manufacturers from Hong Kong to China therefore yes he is one of the pony who has both a HK and China manufacture.

I have both, and both are NM. They are slightly different shades of blue, and I think one might be slightly bigger. I need to get pics of the 2 of them together.
