For sale: Takara Licca doll - SOLD

I would like to find a new home for this Takara Licca doll I received in a lot. she seems to be the pregnant Licca released in 2001, but with her belly detached.

she doesn't have any clothes or accessories unfortunately, but otherwise she's in good shape I think. she does have some marks on her legs though (a few tiny spots I couldn't scrub off - but they seem to be on the surface - and a few small "needle-holes" - or so they seem).

She looks sorta like a Licca. But the body is more Blythe. Odd, maybe someone can help you out more.

you also reminded me that I forgot to add her height, which might be useful. she's about 27,5 cm tall.

If she is 27,5cm tall, then she's probably a jenny/jenny friend or licca family doll, and she does look an awful lot like the pregnant adult version of licca (produced in 2001) in the picture you posted. I found another pic of one MIB with accessories, and she also had the same grey/blue eyes, white eyeshadow, pale lipstick and hairstyle as this one. Naked takara dolls without accessories tend to sell for between 10-20 dollars in my experience.. Sorry I can't be of more help!

yes, now as I searched for that doll I also think she is the pregnant Licca, their heads match completely. as for the body, I read you could send back a postcard (lncluded with the doll) to get a baby, as well as a key which allowed the belly to be detached and so the doll could be returned to its standard proportions - this gives an explanation to why mine doesn't have a big belly.

thanks for the PC too, I will try to put her up for sale/trade here first and see if anyone's interested.

oh, thank you! well, I'm not familiar with Liccas really (originally I didn't even know she's one of them and I made this thread to ID her), so I don't know if she's taller than the usual Liccas. I thought she's just the same size as a regular Barbie, but now I compared her to one and  she's shorter than I thought. she's around 28 cms tall, just a head shorter than a regular Barbie.

I assume the big belly was some kind of a strap-on that could be fixed on her, and the key must function somehow like a chunk, it fixes the extra plastic part on the body. but once it's off, there's no hole or even a trace of that there should be a belly attached. I would love to find out how the mechanism works, but I couldn't find any info on it picture-wise.
