Need help finding everyday shoes!!

My 'everyday' shoes are in dire need of being retired. I have this ratty old pair of DC shoes that I should have thrown out years ago. I wear these shoes most often, and I'm looking for a new pair of everyday shoes that are a more mature style than skate shoes, and suit me and my style a bit better. Does anyone have any suggestions? The last time I went shoe shopping I couldn't find anything just right. Everything was either too fancy (high heel shoes or boots) or just sneakers. Isn't there a happy medium?

try a pair of vans maybe or converse? there is a great colour and style range and they suit anything

I have a pair of dansko's that I absolutely love. They're a bit spendy, but worth every penny. Some of the styles are old lady, but a few are really good for everyday wear. Hope that helps. Good luck in your hunt!

I would just go out there and windowshop--see whats out there then go from there

I wear converse and etnies, but when I want something a little more formalish maybe try brouegs, might not be your style

I don't know if I'd be much help - I love my riding-style boots!  They are really comfy (low heels), can be dressed up or down, and go with most anything.

Have you ever checked out Rocket Dog shoes?  I find they're a happy medium between casual and a little more polished/stylish.  Super comfortable, not expensive, and really durable.

I've got a pair of Rocket Dog shoes that I love! They're fun and relatively comfy for my bad feet and were a good price. I've also fallen in love with Merrill's, which are NOT cheap, but are fantastic shoes and for me worth every penny. The ones I have are technically running shoes, but I wear them for every day, and they have lots of other styles too.
