Realising that My Little Wiki doesn't have a page for this set (yet) and Dream Valley doesn't either, are these two bits that I've got spare the pieces of the UK Ponywear Night Time set? This set is shown as a pony in a mob cap with a ...cape, gown, thing:

And the colours appear to be white, however I've got the UK Party Time here MOC and the tiara is red, not silver.

If it IS Night Time that'd be great, and I thought that would mean I've completed the UK sets however I've just noticed that my Royal Pony set (loose) is missing. I have no idea where I put it or who is wearing it. Oh dear.

There are 5 baby pony bow shoes, but they are made of rock solid plastic, are these fakie-wear?

The other things are these tiny, hard plastic ponies. They are all marked 'CC' and have brushable hair. What are they? I had a few when I was very young, mixed in with second hand Ponies, and now I've got these guys from random lots. I'd love to know more about them.

(And if I can' find my Royal Pony feel free to tell me if you're selling it. Oops.)

eta: Oh yeah, what are those pants from? They're not pony shaped!

No unfortunately thats fakie wear not the UK Bed Time set - there are 2 releases of it. One in all white and one in white with a blue trim [the later I am missing unfortunately myself but *shakes fist at sky* you will be mine eventually lol]. They are made of a crinkly soft plastic - almost as though they need to be waterproof :P

There are also 2 sets of the Party Time outfit - one a red lined cape with a red tiara and one a white lined cape with a white tiara.

The shoes are genuine mlp - but they are originally made of a soft plastic as well so over time plasticisers do leak from them and they do become more rigid. However, there so seem to be some sets which have shoes which are a little more prone to being made of a more rigid plastic - so I would assume these are just standard baby Sunday Stroll shoes.

The little ponies are Cutie Club :)

The Bedtime outfit has two versions, but they are both white (one has blue trim and one has white). The one pictured definitely isn't part of it, but I can't say for sure about the hat as I don't have one to compare. For accessories, greatponies.com is awesome.

There are actually two versions of Party Time... one with the red fur and red crown, and one where the fur and crown are white, though I think the ribbon to tie it is still red! No silver crowns though. I have never seen the white one MOC, so have no idea where it came from :( It's hard to come by, but I've seen enough of it to consider it legitimate. I do have one myself.

*edit* hathorcat ninjaed me, but I figured I'd post anyway ;)

*splorfs*!

Thanks guys, I was hoping one of you two would see this. What a shame that the purple thing is fakie wear! It's so nicely made, I thought it was MLP! It's even the right fit for a CP pony. Why, oh why, did Hasbro make the Night Time set out of plastic? That's so strange.

I will look up the Cutie Club ponies. They're very sweet, and I remember them 'living' in my Lullaby Nursery when I was very young.

That bedtime wear looks like a sort of Victorian doctor outfit XD

I think that's because there's a hole punched over the pony's nose? I'd getting more of a nurse/matron feel from it than a Victorian doctor. Oh well, I guess the UK release team thought the pink, fuzzy onesie was a bit much.. even though we then got it anyway.

It's a very pretty dress and looks so genuine  It's not a nirvana one is it, like Indian or something? There's no info on Indian pony wear on LadyTwilight's site.

Hrm. That may be worth looking into if there's no definite 'it came with this fakie set' references out there. The lot it came with was very well looked after though contained no 'nirvana' ponies, it also contained only one fakie who was a genuine Remco.

Nirvana pony stuff does sometimes turn up in random places, and I think the pony community is still discovering new things all the time.

I just have a gut feeling that's genuine MLP wear.  :)

There was a popular line called Pony Fashions which was designed to fit most of the pony brands of the day, they do have a lot of clothes very close to genuine pony wear. It could be a Pony Fashions set maybe?

Some pony shoes start out hard.  I had the baby pony dragon suit and sunsuit as a kid and the shoes to the sunsuit were hard.  Not rock hard, they were still flexible, but they definitely were more springy compared to the adult pony birthday set I had, which had shoes that were more smooshy.  :)

I've also noticed some colors of adult shoes seem to be hard--like, not BECAUSE of the color, but because one particular set of Ponywear would have harder shoes, if that makes sense?   Because I often get them in fours that way, ha ha!  They are also a bit more shiny than the smooshy shoes.  I think they are made out of slightly different plastic.

Aye I've encountered that. It's the light blue shoes that come with the USA 'Lights, Camera, Action'(?) that are stiff as boards. Thanks for the information, these are likely to be the sun-suit shoes as well.
I've noticed that it's actually really easy to ID shoes now that the MOC photos of sets are more widespread, turns out I had to wrong shoes (scarlet instead of red) on 'Be My Valentine' for about three years. Oops!

I'll look those up, thanks!
