So Creative Ponies, What are you up To?

Since a lot of us are involved in creative pursuits, I felt like being nosy and seeing what everyone is up to?

My current project is me working on a fantasy story/universe. It's actually me taking a fan character of mine and making them into their own story ect. I'm still roughing out the details but it's essentially the story of this girl named Branna setting off to find her father. Stuff that will feature includes pirates, mages and awesome queens.

One of the things I'm working on for it now came from an idea I had for a plot but I wasn't sure how to fit it in. Essentially a princess sets off to rescue their royal protector. And she ends up becoming the queen aroUnd the time that Branna's story is occuring.

I'm currently working on making a bodice to wear at the Renaissance Faire. Trying to, anyway. I've been so busy with work and stress my motivation is almost gone- I really just need a day off to finish it!

Oooh, good luck with your story, it sounds interesting! 

I'm working on a story myself, one that actually began as a school project a few months ago. I'd like to turn it into a full-fledged novel at one point, but the plot requires a bit of tweaking before I can start writing chapters. Another side project I've begun is improving my artwork skills; a new year means a new avatar for me!

currently I am working on new ideas to be included in my online shop I opened just about two weeks ago (on a local site a little similar to etsy). right now I only have 7 things available to buy, I'm going to upload the 8th product (a pair of earrings I finished last night) today, and the 9th (a cell phone accessory that matches the earrings) tomorrow. right now I only have earrings and danglers made of beads, metal and bows, but I plan to extend my stuff to include accessories made of modeling clay (mainly fimo and sukerukun) in the near future.
right now I'm making a pair of earrings for my sister.
I am also actively searching for some coloured glass decoration stones for a future project I have planned. finding some exact colours is harder than I thought T___T
last but not least, I am working on things and ideas on how to make a decent closet for my yet mostly naked and bold Moxie Teen doll. I already have loads of plans for clothes, and I am slowly realising that making some stuff I thought to be difficult or unmanageable might just as well be easy, but there are still some things I'd like her to have and I have no clue how I could do them myself.

ah, ETA: something I didn't actively start yet but I am really excited about: I promised my best friend to make a bridal headband for her for her marriage this May. I hope I'll be able to create something she'll be proud to wear while walking towards the altar ^^

I've been tinkering with my new camera, a Polaroid 450.

It's in good shape, but it's tricky. Since it uses instant film, there's absolutely no cropping, no correcting of angles. I can't edit things in digital post, I can't angle the easel when I'm developing prints. It's very unforgiving, but I like it. Expensive, too. Packs of film are $10 for 10 exposures.

I've burnt through two packs, didn't get many good shots, still getting a grip on it.

The film is 3200 ISO, so it's pretty light sensitive, though not very grainy. Going to try it out at a concert soon. Should be fun.

at this very moment, sweet f a have spent all day selling my wares at a market in the heat - i'm sunburnt, wind burnt and exhausted!! but have so many things i want to do - restock what we sold today, customs, read my bestie's step mums first book (great so far ), cross stitch, pony spas, wall art for my son's room, and i have a heap of tv i need to catch up on... i always have a gazillion projects going at once!!

I moved states a couple of years ago and still learning what's out there, Victoria is such an awesome, diverse, multi cultural, interesting place with so much to see and do, I think id be quiet content spending the rest of my life discovering a new thing each day here lol. I am currently about 1/3 of the way in to an A4 coloured pencil drawing of my baby boy (tabby cat) jack. I did one of his sister years ago, but struggle with real life portraits due to having to be in the right head space, I started a few nights ago and its slowly taking shape.

Ive also made some felt Christmas ornaments for next year for my friends children (adopted nieces and nephews), I hand painted each of them a ceramic one with their name on it this year, a angel for each of the girls and Santa for the boys, and plan to keep that tradition going with one each year for their tree, hopefully being different and creative.

Ive also been getting creative in the kitchen, ive been very ill for years from allergies, and cut out dairy, wheat and yeast from my diet for the last few months which has made me so much better, and I am trying out new ideas and trying to make yummy things that I can have. Ive perfected a bread from my own recipe which is super simple, little mess and very quick to make, its free of wheat, yeast, any dairy, soy, nuts, and egg. If anyone is interested, it works great as pizza base, burger buns, and just about anything you use bread for / in, so feel free to pm me for details

I also made a batch of home made spring rolls, which I cooked 3 different ways to test which one tasted better, deep frying or steaming is the way to go, they cook ok in the oven, but lose some of their lovely subtle flavour which is a shame.

I also made my own satay sauce which was awesome
