So I'm handed this Choya drink to try, and I got half way through and well, then I actually look into the tiny bottle and scream. Scream like something was chasing me.

I thought there was a body part  or an eyeball in there, but apparently it's just a silly ol' plum! Too bad I'll never get to taste it, since instintively threw my hands up and it shattered on the floor.

No! I didn't, it was a tiny bottle with only one in it... I never thought to ever check before, it looked like a shrivelled monkey brain!

(not my picture) but my brother had a bottle of it after trying it at my uncles party. the bottle is long gone but he had been to a party, taken it and them brought back the bottle. which was entirely empty.......(feeling sick just typing this) turns out he bet a friend to eat it....he did not think they would but instead of loose £10 the friend ate it.

Not really anything like that.  I kind of went 'wait, what? When I was drinking some lychee juice and had a few pieces come up through the can.  Didnt know if it was supposed to be in there or if the drink had gone bad o.o

I had a similar experiance. I got some coconut juice in a can which i've never had before and was sorta expecting white creamy coconut milk not the clear liquid it actually was. And then there were chunks! I got maybe halfway through before the chunks got to me and I was too weirded out to continue.

Then there was new years. I was at this party and some guys started making mixed drinks with mountain dew and other random colored alcohols and vodka. That stuff looked like radioactive waste. Mountain Dew and it's electric yellow color scares me..

Yay Bubble Tea, only problem is I only know of one store I can get it and that's in another town. XD But yeah the 'pearls' in it are a bit weird texture wise.

I am supicious of Sprite however after an incident several years ago where it decided it would much rather go through my nose. (I think I had to cough or something) trust me you do not want that.

We only have one place for bubble tea, at the mall ... and my social anxiety doesn't afford me to get to the mall.  I contract people to bring me some.  XD

LOL, the pearl in bubble tea are just tapioca. Although I hadn't considered the possibility of choking on them.... now I'm going to be worrying about that!

They sold something along this line in my favourite grocery store:

I was so icked out by the chunks of aloe pulp in, I couldn't bring myself to drink them. *shudder*

These weren't so frightening, but they kinda fit the general stuff-suspended-in-one's-beverage theme:

And they were great!  Too bad they flopped big time. :(

*snippy*

(...) it looked like a shrivelled monkey brain!

  You win.

I have eaten a worm from a tequila bottle, that was gross, and surprisingly, I didn't throw it back up.

A few years later I had a leaving party with some of my security boys, and three of us were up in my backyard drinking shots of tequila, when we finished the bottle, one of the guys had never eaten the worm before so we dared him to eat it, he did, it disappeared for around 10 seconds before it came back up XD

I have never really been scared of anything floating in my beverages, I find it more amusing than anything.
