twilight8311 purchased a lot with a buy it now option on the 18th of December from me. She asked if it was ok to pay on the 24th, a little bit late, but I gave the benefit of the dbout.

With the holidays, I didn't have the time to check until the 30th, no payment, no message. So I sent them a pm asking for them to make payment.
Received a message back saying they went to pay but eBay wouldn't let them because the shipping method was wrong. Ok, it all looked fine from my end, but to humour them I did another invoice, changing nothing.

I receive a message tonight, late, saying they want to pay on the 11th.

I did dig my heels in and said I now require immediate payment. I understand we all have reasons, but, why could someone pay a day or so ago, but wants to hold off over a week the following day? Its all a but fishy for me.

I wanted to warn others, this buyer seems like a problem, and with a rating of 8, they have already stuffed another seller around, and managed to purchase AND pay for items AFTER winning my auction.

Seems like a time waster to me. Will update if they do (finally) pay.

I hate when people jerk you around!  I learned my lesson on eBay, and I finally resorted to opening a dispute.  I'm sure you know this, but if you do Buy it Now option, you can set it up so the buyer has to pay immediately.  Huge help to get rid of time wasters:)
I hate seeing good people get the run-around from buyers, especially since they hit the Buy it Now button!!!  So frustrating.

I do normally open a dispute after 4 days, however, being around Christmas, I gave a few people some slack, and they have unfortunately taken advantage of it. I will probably have another member (at least) to add to the "do not deal" list real soon.

I'm sorry Paints you are getting jerked around.

I don't get people, if you don't have the cash then do not hit the BIN.  It is not the seller's fault that you can not afford it.

I agree, and because they used the BIN option, I can't even offer a second chance to the next in line.

It doesn't really surprise me unfortunately, I just don't understand it. I figure, if I can let others know about it, hopefully they won't be stuffing others around :)

For BIN auctions I would recommend always clicking the "require immediate payment" button and be sure you have exact shipping weights so actual interested buyers can make the purchase and pay right away.

For this case I would go ahead and open your dispute and then if no payment in 4 days close it up and be done with it. If they are winning and paying auctions after the one they won from you they've had plenty of time to get their priorities in line for making payments.

Finally paid the day before I closed the unpaid item case. I would not deal with her again, and will be putting her in my block list. Communication is a huge issue, and seriously expecting 4 weeks to pay after winning an item is just not on. I wonder how she would feel if it took me as long to post? It's just so unfair as a seller that you have to jump through hoops for people like this.

Wow sounds like a real time waster   I'm glad you finally got your payment, but she messed you about for a month first and I dont blame you for adding her to the blocked list. Thanks for the heads up

Had someone recently ask to pay after the 4th of this month it was the end of December so I figured they were just waiting to make sure sufficient funds were in. They paid on the 5th at like 2am but I am pretty sure it was after the 4 day mark. I sent a reminder on the 3rd. So some people you can trust some you can't.
