I always thought Baby Ember was a boy-  I had no idea Kingsly wasn't a boy- how could Kingsly be a girl with a name like "KINGSLY" and a male lion mane?

As a kid I had girls, boys and gender neutral- lol-    I always though Boy Tie and Minty were boys :D

Speedy was a boy, to me all twins were boy and girl:) Cuddles was a boy that always got laughed at for his pink hair, and it was always my boy Steamer that told him pink hair was cool hahahaha. I miss those days of playing with my ponies:)....hehehe sometimes I still do

I always thought Firefly (thought she was a boy) and Medley were a couple from the Midnight castle movie.. seemed a bit more than just "friends" if you ask me :)

My Wigwam was a girl until I got into collecting. You'd think the hat would have been a clue, but no, I missed that one.

Baby Schoolbag was always a girl to me, now I know she's meant to be a boy. I was surprised by the G2s, and I still get confused by the 'parents' in the Loving Family sets (Berrytown, Meadowsweet, etc).

Tell me about Clever Clover. I had some problems accepting he was a different gender. lol

I always thought Majesty was a King and Princess Tiffany was his Queen. Princess Sparkle was sometimes a girl and sometimes a boy depending on who else was paired up at the time
I'm in search of my childhood Princess Serena/ Aquamarine with blue and gold tinsel. Have you seen her? <3

Exactly! Kingsley is a boy and I will have no more of this nonsense :P Granted he/she doesn't have a FULL mane, but still!

When I got my first wiggles I got  a male vibe as well, but the more of her I got the more fiminine she seemed.

In my childhood herd, Gingerbread and Peppermint Crunch were my boys. If I had others, I don't remember them. I do remember my reaction as a teenager when I stumbled across a website about MLP and saw the truth. Peppermint Crunch I think I knew, deep down, was a girl. But Gingerbread? No way! Totally still a boy in my eyes, I don't care what anyone says. :P

I always thought Zig-Zag was a boy. Why I thought a bright pink zebra was a boy I have no idea, but in my mind he still is one.

He had fondness for Creamsicle, and stood up for her, even though he was very short. He had a heart of gold.

I doodled this of them a while ago. They're so cute.

Oh gosh yes, some can be confusing. Those random boy euro babies throw me off all the time. My childhood ponies were all female.
