is there a big difference between g4 and g3 pinkie pie? not very familiar with g3. especially in the media.

I have avoided her like the plague! I never bought her and never will unless I am forced to because she comes with Rarity or Cadance. I wanted GW Diamond Rose, but I was happy to have just her playful pony version so I dodged the Pinkie Bullet. I don't like her at all so I don't buy her.

I like Pinkie Pie, but I never bought a single of her, due to the fact she comes with EVERYTHING. I haven't bought a single package with just Pinkie Pie in it, and I already have nine of her.

I think I have two Pinkies? Both came with the Nightmare Moon set. I've only bought a Pinkie of my own volition once to turn her into a brushable Roseluck.

I have only intentionally purchased 2 pinkie pies.  One g3 to complete the henna set, and the first release g4 one as I like the little animal friends.  I do however own a LOT of her.

The G4 set with Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle

I intentionally skipped buying the G4 single because I wanted Sweetie Belle.

I don't collect earth ponies, but I have three Pinkie brushables (From the NMM set, GW Diamond Rose set, and Shine Brite Luna set), several blindbags from various sets, and a McDonalds Pinkie. I even ended up with a fakie of her somehow! Dont know how since I dont collect fakies.

Worst of all though, I'm extremely OCD about separating sets so I can't really get rid of her or use her as custom bait.

When I started out, I unintentionally got Pinkies..... then I started collecting her on purpose and now I have an army.

I have intentionally bought a G3, G3.5 and G4 Pinkie. However, for the most part it was only one of each. I have gotten duplicates from buying other ponies. Well, except for in G3's case....like I bought fair exclusive Pinkie, and then there was winter exclusive Pinkie I pruposely bought. But those are slight variations, and therefore different in my head. lol

I have at least one of every G4 Pinkie, not counting So Softs or Learn To Walk PP.

I dont mind buying multiples because she's a fun character and of the M6 characters, the brushable's hair is more show-accurate than a TS,RD, or AJ without their bangs.

I only have one pinkie pie.  At the last fair in RI the fair staff or hasbro, not sure which, were handing out mint in package ponies and I got pinkie pie.  I wouldn't buy her otherwise.

I see people mentioning G3 Pinkie Pie too.  I thought we were just talking about G4 Pinkie Pie.  I do have a ponyville Pinkie Pie and a winter series Pinkie Pie, the one where she has a dark pink cape on.

Yeah, G3's are a lot bigger than G4's.  Also, in the show G3 Pinkie Pie didn't have frizzy hair like G3 show Pinkie Pie has.  G3 Pinkie Pie wasn't as spastic about throwing parties every second or anything like that.  G3 Pinkie Pie was the pony who enjoyed parties the most but wasn't spastic about it.
