they are schedule to come out on spring 2013, but some stores are already selling them in usa  as well as the sites like  toywiz and bigbadtoys.

Pinkie and Rarity are variants of the blister pack Crystal Empire ones, they just have the hexagon shape in their eyes and no tinsel. My Meijers carries them, and I'm sure others are getting them in, too.

Haven't seen them yet, but when I do I think I'll go for the Luna set... I really like that particular figure of her!

Is that Luna different from the one in the Target Crystal Princess set? This one looks like her hair is just purple & blue, but I can't tell for sure. Can someone who has the set confirm?

I own both of those sets. They have the "crystal empire" eyes, and Celestia/Luna have blue tinsel in their manes, but not their tails. Luna has turquoise-midnight blue-purple hair, and Celestia has turquoise-lavender-pink hair.

I bought them at the Meijers in Muskegon MI and I believe they were around $12.99 each.

As above they are the newest Pony packs. In theory coming in January, in practice starting to turn up in a lot of stores this month.

The ponies are all re releases of previous moulds with minor changes - mainly the colour of Celestia.

I hope you find them soon if you are looking to add them to your collection!

Well, they cost around RM49.95, although Jusco Malaysia currently has them on sale for RM44.95.

They should cost around A$15 or so.

I am dying for my Meijer to get these sets in. It seems like the other state's Meijers are getting them except mine!

I knew I wanted Celestia since she's finally white, but now I want that Luna as well, so I guess I'll be buying both sets. I don't need an extra Rarity or Pinkie Pie, but I guess I can always sell or trade them.

All I know is that they've been released here in Scandinavia Found them at Toys R Us the day after christmas when we went out shopping

They do cost quite abit here though, but Swedish prices are always through the roof in comparison to other countries.

Yeah, they are available in Finland too, at Toys'r'us. The price is about 21 euros per pack which is crazy, but I bought them anyway.

Does that really qualify them as variants I just see them as standard Pinkie and Rarity in that case, and bait fodder xD

     It's going to be a bit before I buy them for $13, it's like they're saying, "regular ponies are $5, and anypony bigger is $8.". Plus, the fact I've already got plenty of Pinkies and Raritys doesn't provide much incentive either.

     I just don't see the value in the msrp, $10 would be okay but $13 is $2 shy of a 3-4 pony "forever friends" pack.
