Does anyone actually LIKE G1 BBE ponies?

  I don't think I've ever heard a single person say they like the poor BBE ponies!  Does anyone like them? Let's hear some redeeming comments for the poor things! Also whether you do or don't like them, do you still collect them?

I do!  I had a lot as a kid so I remember them being all clean and shiny before they devolved into the freaky little demons they usually are after 20 years.

I know there are people on here who do love them, I can't remember who. I actually like the unicorn pose, it's very pretty. The eyes just don't look like pony eyes to me, so I find them not so pretty. I also don't like open-mouthed ponies usually and I think that's a bigger turn-off for me than the eyes. Has anyone ever put a different kind of glass eyes (non-blinking of course) in them? Now I'm curious as to how it looks.

They're actually really cute... they just look better when their eyes are shut

To me they are very ugly and scary.... seem to have dark circles around the eyes !!!! the horror!!!!

I think they're cute in their own weird way, but no denying their eyes are abit freaky

I haven't been able to get my hooves on one yet but from pictures I've seen I think they're cute. I never liked toys with eyes that closed as a kid, but that was because I didn't like the eye shutting when I didn't want it to. Now I'd definitely like to get one of these ponies.

Well, to hear some collectors talk, you'd think that these little critters were the scourge of all ponyland - the evil that lurks under the bed, waiting to drag innocent unsuspecting ponies down to the depths of equine hell.

I have no opinion about them.  Though, I don't collect.

If it weren't for those eyes I would like them a lot better. Maybe one day I'll start collecting them...not anytime soon though.

I think they're adorable but I wish Hasbro had used materials that didn't rust!

I like them. I think it took me a long time to warm up to bbe's.  I really love sleepie pie and ribbon or bbe gusty they do not look that bad. I have a full collection of them.

Oh I like them But then again I like all G1 ponies. I understand the horror however from a lot of people they are not the most adorable of creatures in picture or person but I like them
