re colors are awesome. :3 although my favorite color is gray so i'm sot sure how well that would work. Then black and white stripes, and then rainbow. ha ha gah my color choices would not do well on blind bags! (Although I do have an AJ army starting so gosh, ANY recoloring of her could be awesome, like nirvanas and such? *swoon* yeah in that case recolors of her would be awesome!!)

As for any non traditional ponies, I like to leave it to the artist! I am ok with all three options, shining armor base, sculpted onto a regular brushable, or even just coloring a bushable. Whatever my partner is most comfortable doing.  As it was stated before I go into swaps with an open mind to just about everything because I understand that everyone has different experiences so I leave it pretty open!

As far as progress, my first pony is done! and she's adorable I might add!!!

If my partner wants to go all out and make a custom box, I would love it as all of my G4's are still MIB. Though it definitely is not necessary at all. As for an alternate color BB....I think that would be neat. The only color I don't really like is pink, but for something like that, I would definitely leave that to the artist....kind of like dealers choice. lol

Colors, I like blues, greens, cool colors with maybe a little yellow or red. An alt colored bb would be neat, but not necessary.

I'm totally ok with boy ponies done on regular brushable bases, it doesn't have to be on a boy bait or be sculpted.

Question: For those ponies that are available in glittery and non-glittery versions, which is your preference? Do you have strong pro- or anti- feelings about glitter? (I would not send out a pony that shed glitter, if that's the concern.)

Oh, I forgot to answer about boy ponies! To be honest, I do prefer a sculpted bait on any boys -- especially the one that was on my list. I think it would look a little strange with a regular bait, hehe.

As for glittery vs non-glittery, I do like the non-glittery variations better because they have an actual hair color. Besides that, though, feel free to go crazy with the glitter!

I don't think any pony I chose came in a glitter version.  I'm not the biggest glitter fan, but it doesn't bother me either.

I finally got a nice day, and even with the extra work because of the past humidity I feel like I'm back on schedule!  If I keep going at this rate I think I'll be done well before the first check in!

My favorite color combination is purple, dark blue, and silver... All spacey colors, but I'm not a huge fan of space... 

As far as glitter goes, I think it's pretty as long as it isn't overdone.  I picked all opaque ponies for my list as well because even though I like the translucent glittery ponies, they need different hair colors...  They're too plain Jane being solid like that :\  If any of mine have a glitter double, feel free to use glitter though   I've gotten customs in the past that had glitter on them and I love them

I don't mind glitter as long as it's like...glitter paint.  That doesn't come off as easy, but I'm good with whatever you want to do, dear partner!


Answer to my question:  love alternate BBs!

Non traditional ponies:  Seeing as I do not have a Shining Armor mold yet (getting one eventually) I would love one in his pose, but I'm good with any pose at all.  =]  Sculpting is not needed!

I'd be fine with only getting one pony, since that's what this swap is about.  Extras are nice, but they're called extras for a reason.  That said, there's still loads of time before the deadline (Not that I advocate procrastination.)

Auuugh I wish this pony wasn't turning out so well.  My heart's already breaking at the thought of letting it go!!! lmao maybe I've jinxed it by saying this now.

Time to answer some more questions.

Mold wise: I don't care if you sculpt or use a Shining Armor/Princess mold. As long as you can tell with their eyes, I'm good!

Glitter: If it was originally a glitter pony but then was re-released as normal colored one, I don't mind if you gave it a sealed coat of glitter.

not a big fan of all over glitter, but a glittery symbol is really cool. (do this alot myself)
especially if you use glitter paint.
