Oh man, I feel you! I had a period a few months back where I was doing nothing but playing Pokemon -- I got really behind on all of my customs, and I had to literally force myself do to any work. It's such an addicting game. X_x

totally!! though i was trying to catch certain pokemon etc so he date stamp would be on my birthday. cheesy i know, but it makes a great pokemon memory.

Hee hee hee, I did the same thing  I spent all day trying to catch a Reshiram on my Pokemon White 2... Sounds easy no? well, trying to get one with the right nature makes things a bit harder ^^' I'm trying to build up my team for the upcomming online tournament.

Getting a legendary with the right nature is the worst. I once was trying to get a Timid Latios, and somehow ended up getting a shiny one first.  (It was Docile, by the way -- totally unusable in the Subway. T_T)

Wow this thread is going fast!

My list is in no particular order. A near match on hair and color is fine. A glued head is fine, with a slight angle. I haven't actually managed to get one of my G4's taken apart without destroying the neck plug yet, but I have a new plan for this one, so here's hoping! I like marks on both sides but one is ok too. Basically, I'm very easy to please!

Yay! Bait finally prepped, and I even got the neck plugs out intact! Now it's on to painting. I keep getting more excited.

Painting now! I had to use a different bait than the one I was originally going to use, it got all yucky after painting and stripping so many times.

I'm going to be taking a walk down to the store to pick up the paints for the pony. I've been getting out alot and walking to the store instead of taking the bus there and my efforts have been showing

decided to do all 5 and send the ones that work. (hopefully that its more than one )
all the priming is done, and two ponies are getting their color today. (when mixing i don't like to color them till i have the hair. so i can do it all in one day... don't want to try an match it later.)

another question!!! How does everyone feel about the ponies in boxes? Like what if your partner was going to make a custom box that similar to the ones that the pony comes in when you buy them at the store? The back card, the art, the whole set up, how do you feel about that? Would you just want the pony itself or would you actually be excited about it coming in a custom display box? (I don't want to make the custom box and then find out my partner doesn't like boxes and wants to display their pony not in a box, even if it is a custom box.

I think it's a cool idea, but i would probably display the box separate.
