Finally arrived safe and sound to the wonderful Ellis 1342! This was the easiest pony for me to decide on because Ellis had really good specific things she liked. Of those, she mentioned liking Reindeer, pearlized finish, Bases and boy ponies! Now, the color scheme came from that and she also stated her favorite winter colors are white, blue and silver. So I combined those with a pearly white finish a tiny bit of silver at his feet. I decided to use a G1 bait of Ribbs, since she liked boys AND babies, and then made his cloven hooves a metallic blue. His antlers are sculpted to mimic a little more of a real traditional reindeer, which is really a caribou. They are my FAVORITE animals! They are made from thick wire, apoxie, and then covered with a bit of white flock mixed with a bit of glitter.
His tail and neck/chest fur are sculpted from apoxie as well. I wanted his eyes to have a monochrome feel, so I mixed black in with the metallic silver and pearl white to get the pupil and the iris is a mixture of pearl white, metallic blue and pearl blue then sealed with triple thick. His body is a mix of airbrushing and then a layer of brush painting. His saddle is made up of fabric on top of faux fur. I used a double sided ribbon for the harness, then added some pretty 'candy coated' brads and tiny blue bells. I even made him a tiny charm right in the front with a bell sealed with triple thick.

The base is the largest snow globe kit I could find. I then took a premade plastic globe from an unnamed store and took it apart. I used all the mechanics which includes music, a lightup slide and the ability to (kinda) blow around snow. Sadly, it doesn't work exactly the way I intended it too. Oh well.
The penguin was a really ugly purple and red, and I repainted him to be blue and silver to match the theme, then sealed his hat and scarf with triple thick.

I hollowed out a chunk of floral foam and put the electrical workings underneath and ran the wire though a hole I drilled out. Unfortunately, the wire wasn't the best so I easily broke the lighting...but fortunate for me, I have a nice stock of blue leds and I used one in the slide to make it work again. I covered most of the foam in Gesso and then layered the top in spray "snow". I also attached a miniature tree, small wrapped present and a blue and silver spiral pole.
Hum, hopefully I didn't miss anything. I sent her some yummy treats and goodies as well.
Hope you like!

Candy is in the bag and chocolates were put in a plastic bag on their own, just in case they may have melted.
Here's the working video too:
