G3 Fashion Size question

Hello!
I'm going to be working on a custom G3 fashion size pony over the Christmas break, and I am just starting to get all the materials together, and I need to know:
How many hanks of hair will I need? I'm going to be buying from Dollyhair most likely.

Is normally say around three, but considering that Dollyhair has been giving out thinner hanks lately, I'd say maybe five or six hanks. :/

Three? I've only done one and she took 9 hanks. Maybe I just made the plugs too thick?

Maybe... I've done one, and it used up three different colors for me. I make really thin plugs, though.

the one I've made look around 6-7 hanks (left full length)  but with the amount of hair dollyhair is sending out these days you'll probably need at least 12 hanks, and that's IF your order is correct and each hank you are sent has the amount they claim is normal. (a "normal" hank according to the most recent posts from Dollyhair should weigh around 11-12grams. people have received hanks weighing as little as 6 grams.)

Oh my. :/ Sounds like people are having some problems with dollyhair lately.
Is there another hair store i could go to?
