What was your first MH item/doll?

Even though I have been looking at the MH section since they started showing up, was not until August of this year, when I saw Cupid, that I needed to get her. Month later Rochelle, the cam body set, DDG Operetta, 3-eyed, insect....etc.

Funny thing is I remember seeing all of the dolls at some point, including the first wave, boys, couples, etc.. If there would have been a show on the Hub, may have started collecting them rather than G4 MLP.

My first was signature Lala, when the line first came out. She was quickly followed by the other five original dolls. Of all my dolls (over 100), she's the only one with noticeable eye-wonk. I had never bought a doll before, and I was super-excited to find her because the dolls were still really new and rather hard to find. As I've become a more experienced collector, her eye bugs me more and more. I've contemplated replacing her, but she was my first. Plus, she has the almond shaped eyes (which are harder to find now), and I kind of like that all of the original six are from the initial release.

At first my reaction to the whole line was meh, that was until I seen Sig Ghoulia and had to have her.  Before her I'd never seen an attractive geek doll, or really any geek doll with glasses who is smart character opposed to a popular party girl (Barbie anyone).  Anyway I purchased Ghoulia in early spring 2011 when I was home on spring break and that started my little obsession.

My first was Skull Shores Ghoulia back in January. She was literally the only doll on a giant blank space of wall at Target after Christmas, and I was like "Wow! A Zombie doll with a pin-up kinda look! That's cool!" So she was mine. And thus the obsession and hunting began.

My first doll was Wave 1 Lagoona! I still have her too!

my first (s) were wave 1 clawdeen and  wave 1 lagoona back in 2010.

 i bought then both together when my fred meyers was doing a buy 1 get1 free deal.
  Had to get those two!! i still love them!
 
 still have them both MIB some many  dolls later!! ( really gotta do a count)

My first was a naked, out of the box ghost girl. Got her just last month!

She's, uh, a work in progress.

(By that I mean I'm still waiting on the hair and paint! >:T) Awaiting signature Ghoulia atm!

My first was the original wave 1 clawdeen. I got her and have her in MIB condition sitting on my shelf. My hubby bought her on ebay for our anniversary. She started the whole craze of collecting them and I now have over 100 including play sets. I love all my dolls.. I also have 9 doubles out of the box that I can play around with too

GR Draculaura and PD Spectra were bought at the same time for me.. But I am just not loving my spectra as much as my other dolls, so will likely be getting rid of her. Litle Dead Riding Wolf Clawdeen is my favorite at the moment.

My first were signature Frankie and signature Draculaura.  I kept walking by these cool looking Monster High dolls at the store on my way to shop for ponies...  Eventually gave in and picked up these two, still MIB and still two of my faves.

Rochelle...  but it's not been much of an invasion around here.  Only certain girls get to come home and I've been very controlled and good about it.
