Customizing a G4 FS Rarity...should I? D:

Okay, so today I went out to Target and found a FS Rarity and I have been wanting SO badly to make a custom FS unicorn. I bought her with that intention since I already have one...But now I'm not so sure. Hasbro has said something about reproducing the mane six FS but I haven't heard anything about Rarity (I've been a little out of the loop lately because of swaps and homework and life problems) coming out as a rerelease anytime soon.

I know what I want to make and a Twilight Sparkle FS wouldn't be possible because the color is too dark for a light-colored FBR to really work (at least for how I do FBRs).

There are collectors out there looking for her...but I so badly want to customize her... What do you all think about cusomizing a harder to find pony?

I wouldn't unless one of them is really baity....

I originally bought my FS Rarity to customize and never got around to it.  Once she became harder to find, I ended up selling her to OL1 for what I paid for her.  Until Hasbro makes more of her and her price drops back down, I don't think would customize her.  Can you use a different pony and then sculpt the horn?

(I did a white FBR over a purple pony once.  Took forever, but it's possible)

Well I think she has, as I got mine recently at a Target. But it might be limited as I haven't seen much of her.

I've seen tons of her lately. She is at almost all of my local Targets. I think it'd be safe to customize her :].

To be honest, she's you're pony you can do what you please with her
I believe in the corral it was mention she was possibly re-released though

I still wouldn't unless it was baity...but that's just me. Seems a waste of a perfectly pretty pony.

There in Target and Big W here in australia too. I bought a couple with intentions of customising them in the future.

See...my delimma is that I want to make a FS Mimic with my own twist. (I know, I know, she starts off a Rarity and ends up a different rarity. lol! The irony.) She would be my first FS custom...and I usually only customize the mane 6 brushables since I believe in the whole "spirit of pony sportsmanship" where if others are hunting new ponies, I typically wait until most everyone has them before buying an extra, hence the delimma.  ZennaBug, I think I might just hold onto her for another month or two, at least until I know whether or not some people still can't find her...The dollyhair might take awhile to reach me, so by that time, it should be safe...Right?

If she's all over the shelves again, then I think she's probably fair game.

I understand it!  I have been seeing her crop up more with two at a Target near me after I grabbed one for myself and one for a friend's present. I'd say since she's become more readily available...."GO GO GO! "
