New Finds - Fashion Packs (singles) and the US Magazine !

Stumbled on a great deal on the new 'budget' fashions on eBay. We get dolls in my area well enough, and a surplus of kids' dress-up stuff, but doll clothes... forget it ! So when I had the chance to get all four for less than $40., shipped Priority, I jumped on it ! Bought them Friday, got them today. Wow. The seller has already jumped the price up $10., otherwise, I'd offer a link.

I'm going to savor them, and rip them open one at a time. Mind if I post modelling photos here ?

Yesterday, I found the US Monster High magazine at Hastings, in with the Barbie, Disney Princess, and Boy Band magazines. Didn't come with the jewelry or gloves of the UK version, and nearly all of it is recycled activities from the website or art from the doll boxes, but hey. We finally get it ! Second issue is due out 26 February. I most love the pull-out posters, just wish they weren't back-to-back on the same pages.

Not sure if I'm gonna subscribe. $18. for four issues is kinda pricey, and frankly, Disney Princess at least offers new stories and some original art. Not sure if the're going for a more 'tween' audience, but there isn't much here that most of us haven't seen before. Frequently. Let me know if you wanna see some page scans.

Ohh you lucky lucky person. I NEED Spectra's!! As for the Magazine...very tempting. Especially if they come with posters! But boo for having them be back to back. >,>; You'd need to buy 2 if you wanted to hang both.

I need the fashion packs, but I'm hoping to get them for the holidays. I saw the magazine too, but it was too short and thin for a $5 magazine and didn't come with anything that made it worthwhile.

I wanna see modeling pictures! They've been hanging around at a decent price on amazon so I've been considering buying them. I have the Abbey one on the way to me and I'm eyeing the Spectra one as well.

I ended up buying all the fashion packs except for Abbey's from Amazon. I love Abbey's shoes and purse, but not the dress. I may get it later, but for now, I just got the other three. I put them on SS Lagoona, DT 2 Lala and Spectra's will go on PD Spectra as soon as she arrives in the mail.

I'm super sad about the packaging changes that have been made   I want my naked paper dollies:(

....but the fashions themselves are very pretty and I'd love to see them on a paper doll.  Model away:)

I'd also love to see scans of the magazine, but if I'm the only one, you don't have to go to the trouble   I'm sure I can guess what's inside!

I got in the Spectra pack in the mail from Amazon earlier today. I haven't opened it yet (trying to finish some finals assignments done), but from the looks of it her sunglasses aren't see-through/clear? Hopefully I'm not seeing it right, but if that's true then I am a little bummed. xD:

I think her dress is really cute and I love that it's not super short or tight like a lot of the MH clothes. I also adore her shoes. They're a pain to get on, but they look so nice. The only thing I'm not keeping from it is the bag because it's too heavy for her to hold because her arm joints are slightly loose. I'll take pics of Draculaura and Spectra in theirs later today. They're out for delivery, so I'm just waiting on UPS to show up with them.

I loved Classroom Lagoona's shoes, but I wasn't crazy about the colors. And I love colorful translucent plastic items (I have no idea why, I just do) it made me love these shoes so much more.
