A really strange request

I didn't think this belonged in the "wanted" section, even though I am looking to buy something...

anyway, I don't suppose anyone has a pair of size 8 stiletto boots that may be damaged or old or something that would cause their owner to want to sell them to me for really cheap?

I need them for an art project of sorts, but since I will be modding them extensively I don't really want to go buy new shoes from the store.

The heel and uppers can be damaged, I just need the structural integrity of the shoe itself to be intact.

how much are you willing to spend??  if no one has any on here i'm sure i could find you some at the thrift store for under $20, or you could even look at your thrift stores for some?

Definitely under $20. I have my eye on a pair on ebay right now (but again, I feel a little bad destroying perfectly good shoes)

and I don't think there are any thrift stores in my area, or I would totally hit them up.

If it helps to know more about the project, I will be getting rid of the heel completely, extending the sole (if it is not tall enough itself) and recovereing the uppers.

They also need to have a rounded toe.
