I almost have a doll scarf done. It's just a stockinette stitch, apparently I can't purl stitch with tiny yarn. I wanted to do a ribbed scarf. Oh well, it'll work. Not sure if I'll have time to do a fedora today, I will try though.

Do we want to do a 3-week dresses challenge next? Or pants?

Can anyone reccomend a good place to get doll buttons and zippers? Or other small doll-sized notion type things?

Shai- the accessory challenge was for whatever accessory(ies) you wanted to make. That looks really pretty How do you use it?

PBubbles- I didn't even think of wigs, but you are right, that is an accessory!

Good job everyone!! I didn't get everything I wanted done, but I did make some nice jewelry and bought a doll dress/stuff pattern I kept putting off getting

Since Katgyrl and I are the only ones who chimed in an opinion we will do pants next!!!

Challenge #5- Pants/SHorts/Leggings

Make or acquire a pair of pants/shorts/leggings for your doll

My method for pants is to turn the pair of pants the doll came with inside-out and copy the pattern.  Then make adjustments as needed/desired. Remember, use big seam allowances when stitching, then trim it down. Also, remember my rule for sewing things not in the same order as you would human pants. The video above does a good job of this. Sew as much as you can before closing up the garment (i.e. put pockets on, decorative topstitching, and hems in before sewing the legs together. Good luck!

I want to make a little flower to stick on the hat. I also made two "boy" beanies.

Don't think i'll be participating in the pants challenge. Crochet and pants don't quite go together lol
I did find some hot pink lace pants in my old barbie stuff that fit my doll so I'll take a pic of that later.

I've been contemplating a thread in the MH section to show off my "crochet fashion" and see if I'd get interest. The bag was super simple so i'll definitely make more.

I'm also wanting to see if I can get someone to do a clothing trade with me. I'd really like some cute tops for my gorgan and I'd love to have someone make me some in return for some crocheted doll stuff. And i can create for any doll not just MH.

Yayyyy!! Pictures! Well, some pictures. I cheated on the pants and bought a pair for Larkin. I just don't have the time at the moment to make pants, but one day I will.

  But, My newest OOAK MH 'Grace' got an entire ensemble today.
