Is FS Applejack still rare and sought after?

Just wondering...are still people looking for her?
Cos I might have a chance of still finding a couple around here and putting them up for sale.
But I'd need to know for sure before I order/buy them as I wouldn't want to be stuck with duplicate expensive ponies

As far as I know, she is. FS Rarity was also super rare, but not they re-released her and I have found her in stores again. As for Applejack, who knows? You may wanna buy them up quick before Hasbro does announce they will release her again.

I for one hope they do. She's the only one I don't have and she's my more wanted G4 pony right now. I can't afford the prices she goes for.

What I heard is they are re releasing the FS. My boyfriend bought a fashion style rarity for me and he said there was about 5 or 6 more of them

Yes, I think Rarity has been re-released. As well as Pinkie Pie.
But I'm not sure about AJ?

I think personally I have only seen FS Applejack once or twice. I didn't pick her up then because I thought she would be abundant like most of the regular brushables.
I hope they going to be are re releasing Rarity and Applejack.

Basically Fluttershy, Twilight, and AJ are the next wave theoretically. I wouldn't be surprised if they find she's too expensive to rerelease and alter her bangs and accessories if they rerelease her at all.
 
Also, at the moment AJ goes from $70~$100 on Ebay. Tons of people want her because she came one per case in wave 1(2010) if I remember correctly.

Every time somebody offered me one so far they either didn't have it or can't tell the difference between a Playful Pony and a fashion style. FS AJ's as much a headache to me as FS AP is to other arena folks.

AJ is the only FS DD does not have yet.  Granted, Rarity, Pinkie and Luna are wrapped up, but still.  After not seeing her forever, Rarity is popping up here again.

You are probably seeing the re released Rarity - its the same pony, same packaging, same accessories.

Yes, right now AJ is rare and hard to find. I honestly have little doubt she will get a re release at some point - will she come with the same accessories? I am not sure - but I think its probably only a matter of when. Clearly FS waves are something Hasbro are going to continue up with - we already know of at least a new Pinkie coming. From the pattern with every single other aspect of the G4 line so far if Hasbro can be predicted to do nothing else, they can be predicted to continue to release again and again the main 6. It would be odd for them to suddenly release new characters or to simply drop this size of pony altogether.

All that being said she is running around the $80-120 mark on ebay [up to $160 on a wow day] at the moment when MIB [top end] or when loose and complete [lower end] and even loose with no accessories FS AJs seem to be able to command around the $30-40 mark.

This has the release date as Spring 2012, so it doesn't really say much about what is coming up.  I like to watch Taobao for hints of the next releases... So far no AJ.  I managed to snag one off eBay for $60 not too long ago.  Sometimes you get lucky and one slips past the other people hunting for her.
