I feel like I should wait until after work to post, since there's so much going on, but there will be even more by then! I've never been so busy that opening a present wasn't the highest priority, but for some reason it has happened TWICE during this swap. Something definitely needs to change! Because what I missed opening was Flower Wishes (g4) and her Blind Bag Buddy. Through a series of strange and beautiful events I finally found the TRU pack that has Flower Wishes, but I dismissed her because she looks so plain in the box. Not out of the box! Her hair has the funnest (yes, I know it's not a word) colors! And I've only got Applejack who has been opened so far, so she'll be pretty dern excited to finally have a friend! Thank you, Jazz!

Oh, the Peace and Love part was on a shirt! Ok- I was noticing the different stitches used for different parts, and wondering how that happened. I love the bag, though- I may add a button to the top to make it a little less thief-friendly, then I can replace the bag I'm currently using. It's huge, and though it's nice to be able to smuggle monkeys out of the zoo, it would also be nice to have a normal-sized bag!
Honestly, I will take pictures of this tonight, when I open the 11th's gift. I'll have time tonight!

Xeevee, I introduced a friend of mine to the Dark Materials, and he discovered this book. It's a fun book, and worth having on the shelf, but obviously not as good as the big novel books. I also feel like saying that The Golden Compass series was the first book series that I read that I had to wait for the next book to come out- usually I read old books that have been out for years or things that don't have sequels. I saw the book with the cute polar bear and bought it brand new (something else I don't normally do) and then had to wait the 5 years until the next one came out! And since that book ends the way it does, with her walking through the Aurora, (sorry, folks, but it really doesn't ruin the story) it was an especially long wait.
So when you said you like those books, I crossed my fingers! Just so you know, that was one of the days I was excited about. Funny that it came right after I mentioned it! And very glad to see you don't already have the book!

Plus, adorable kitties! Ok, now off to work! The roads are still a little icy, and I don't want to crash and die before I get to open package 11!

Day 11! A bandanna! Is it for Tex? this one is dark blue. If anyone has seen my recent brother confusion post... Also is the white stitching just a different release? Or is it a reproduction bandanna? It feels like such a different fabric compared to the other two I have. Those don't have white stitching. It's going on Tex for now and the one bandanna I have that's blue is going on my Wigwam but I have nothing but mixed replies so far on them! And now my poor 4speed needs a bandanna. Took me a year to notice he had the wrong one!

I can't believe how close they are to original wings. Now my Wing Song can be all pretty again =)  No, pony wasn't included, just the wings. Wing Song was the closest model so she gets to show off my most spectacular of all presents.

I'm about to make myself a cup of that tea too. Just finished my morning tea and I've never had vanilla green tea.  This stuff smelled so good as I was unwrapping it!

Mailman just came!  And lookie what he brought me- eye jewels! The glue isn't dry yet, but I couldn't wait to share how awesome she looks!  I think I ordered the jewels a little big by mistake. Maybe they'll fit an adult... Either way, she looks like new again!

And nope for the earrings - I must admit that I bought those... 'cause I also thought they look pretty cool =3 - sorry I can't tell you what stuff they are made of - so perhaps you really better swap the hooks when you are allergic =/.

Okay, I need clarification on the taschenwarmer.

I'd be glad to =D: The Taschenwärmer is a heating pad - you crease the small metal plate and the pad starts to crystalize & gets warm. When it's all hard and cold again, you can boil it in a pot with water (about 10 minutes) until it is all liquid again. Then you can use it again.
I just LOVE these things to get my hands warm when it's so very cold outside ^^.
