Is there a market for pony accessories?

I have to debox some of my ponies to make some space.

I only like pony accessories when they are in the box with the pony, when they are loose, they just get on my nerves to be honest.

I was wondering if there was a market for pony accessories out there, because I don't want to just throw them away.

Depends on which generation.
G1, absolutely.  Many of the accessories are more valuable than the pony they came with!
G2, there is a market though not quite as large as for G1 accessories.
G3, hardly any of the accessories are sought after, possibly the rarer ones to store exclusives.
G4, I wouldn't be able to tell you, but probably not given how many get customized, there's tons of orphaned accessories floating about.  People do buy them, but they're not hugely valuable for the most part. (Again, barring those that came with exclusives/rares.)

It also depends what you consider an accessory.  Brushes and combs tend to be the least valuable, while "true" accessories such as what came with the G1 baby ponies, princesses, big brothers, etc. go for quite a bit more.

don throw thema way ther are people who buy acceroys.   to comeplete sets.  i know i'm looking for some that went to playsets. like the castles  and some that went with other ponys.  just advertise.. and post pics of wahtyouhave. i'ms ure soemoen will take them..

Always post what you've got before tossing. G3 and 4 brushes are probably the least desired items but definitely there is ALWAYS someone out there who is interested. I myself love picking up the barrettes and hair things for when I get in a pony hair salon mood.

Hiya, they're all g4 and mostly the things that came with the wedding ponies. Everything in the box that is not a pony. I really don't want to toss them which is why I'm posting. If I couldn't sell them, they would just go up for adoption here. I would never throw any pony things away:(

I think there are people out there that would want them - I would, for sure, as I want the accessories and backcards without having to have duplicate ponies hanging about the place.

As Baby Sugarberry says it depends on the generation how sought after they are but I am sure even G4 accessories would find a happy home. You may have the most luck selling them as a lot or as lots of little lots however.

I would love the G4 accessories as well!  I don't like buying the mane 6 over and over again to get all the little extra goodies that they come with (especially their outfits)
