Old ads are confusing!

I'm OBSESSED with finding the old MLP show stuff and very very excited when I run into them!

Like the writer's guide to the show and the Escape From Catrina press kit and finding MLP Movie random stuff, which was a pin and "hang tag" thing....

This time I found My Little Pony 'n Friends ads....and one is very confusing! But I guess the old lady person near the dragon was supposed to be Hydia? o.O

I was thinking that it was supposed to be something maybe from Moondreamers, but at the bottom of the ad, it mentions nothing of Moondreamers D= Only Glow Friends and Potato Head Kids.

But I was happy to see where the UK video My Little Pony and Other Friends got part of their art for the cover, but crap-illy traced over X D  And happy to find out where this photo I got in 2010 was from, which is the bottom part of the pictures with Paradise and the Glow Friends and Potato Head kids. Which makes me DREAD (and hope) there were press kids for MLP 'n Friends...maybe there was one for Rescue at Midnight Castle O.O  -head explodes-

I would love to know what who drew it and what the story was that had them draw it that way. That's why I get hateful jealous over the new stuff because it's mostly easy to find who draws what and everything else T.T

Oh, awesome find!!

I see the dragon, but the picture is too small for me to make out the lady.  Does she have a green face?  Because if so she probably is Scowlene from the Moondreamers.

I guess she could be a precursor to Scowlene o.O  She doesn't have green skin though. This is as close I can get it from the saved picture from the auction, haven't a chance to get a close up of it my self (glad to find those lines aren't on the ad itself)

Oh cute find! And a great addition to your collection I am sure.

Unfortunately I cant make out the image too well either but I wouldnt be surprised if it was a random Moondreamers character.

I also love old ads and materials for the shows. I grew up with the specials and the movie. Thank you for sharing. Its always funny how so much promo art has such random characters lol
