And now for something -completely- different!  Love anime?  Love snacking while watching anime?  Shyeah!  Then join us for making Pocky flavored, ahem, I mean themed ponies!  Creativity is a must, newbies welcome!

Red Tape (Rules!):
1. You must have a minimum of 5 positive Arena feedbacks to participate. To participate in the newbie category you only need 2 positive Arena feedbacks.  Ebay feedback will not count for this swap, sorry!
2. You must have been an arena member for at least 3 months before sign ups are over.
3. Submit pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs. This swap will be paired based on skill.  Newbies may share 1.
4. Ship on time!
5. Please, no shipping early! Wait until you are cleared to ship.
6. Be prepared with pictures on the check in dates.
7. PM me the tracking number when you have shipped.
8. KEEP YOUR SHIPPING RECEIPTS!  You must be able to show proof of shipping if asked.  Delivery confirmation is highly recommended.
9. Let me know when you receive your custom and if you're happy or if you have any concerns.
10. Do not tell anyone who your partner is. It’s a secret!
11. Do not use any fakies unless they're requested by your partner.
12. Please check in on the thread to answer questions and let everyone know you're out there at least once a week!
13. It is recommended that you include a few extras/treats with your pony!  Come on, it's a Pocky swap!  Show the Pocky love!

I'm not a huge Pocky fan, but I can see how the box art and the flavors themselves can inspire some good customs.  I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

i ~may~ be interested, depending on when you plan on doing it, as im already in 2 custom swaps atm. but i used to be a bit of a pocky addict in highschool. kinda not a huge fan of it anymore but thats just cause i burned out on it haha. have a lot of good memories of sleepovers with my girlfriends watchin anime and having way too much pocky and ramune. =P

Okay, I'll admit...I scoffed at first.  I was like...Pocky?  How do you make a Pocky pony!  The boxes are bland!  But I Google image searched Pocky and I have been enlightened!  There-are- lots and lots of flavors and boxes!  I can totally see little Pocky ponies!

If there is interest, I would be willing to host for you. . Sounds like s fun theme!

Yeah, there are so many kinds, I'm sure we could all find a favorite! I'm a huge sucker for the mint pocky and the peanut pocky. It was the mint pocky that gave me the idea since its mint and white striped box made me think of an ice cream shop or something. If you could host, that would be great! You could pick whatever time you want to start it, once we get some interest, but let me know when you want to do it so I can join in!

once in a while youll find it in regular grocery stores or as a novelty, but usually can only get it regularly at oriental grocery stores etc =]

I see it sold regularly here in Arkansas, At Wal Mart Super Center in the Oriental section. Hastings (if you have one near you) has been known to carry a little variety.

I would totally be interested depending on when it is :3 Definitely if it's after Christmas! I'm already in a swap and I don't want to bite off more than I can chew x3 I looooove Pocky though! ;D I think little Pocky ponies would be adorable!

Okay, I've been rereading the swap rules and procedures and getting my ducks in a row.  Set to go!  Two questions for people since I'm totally flexible.  Would you guys be open to allowing newbies?  I've heard one person mention a timeframe that works for them (after Christmas), but what about the rest of you?  I'm itching to work on something, but anytime is fine for me.  If people have slots open, we could get rolling and have a bit more time to compensate for the holidays.  What do you think?
