I love this thread :D everyone has such pretty pony hair! And the 'bad hair day' ones are a good laugh. xD I have a couple more. n_n

Another Pinkie:

It's not really styled as such, but I'm impressed with how straight the tinsel is, it usually just flies everywhere. O: I'm really happy with how the photo came out too. n_n

Here's :muffin: Pony:

I still need to work on her hair but I'm happy enough with it in that picture. xD

Here's the AJ I styled for my bf:

Andd, my Rainbow Dash. She's gonna end up with my friend or turned into a :muffin: Pony though. xD I haven't decided yet.

I have a new Crystal Rainbow Dash that I still need to style, but I'm not sure whether to try to do it with the tinsel, or whether to try de-tinseling her. :s

Loving these styles ladies and gents keep them coming they're a great source of inspiration!

Ok so weve seen Precious Gem with amazing curls how about her....

With poker straight hair! I found her for 20p at a carboot sale and 'haystack' did not come close, I didn't think her curls were salvagable so out came the straightners!

The Princess is GORGEOUS!! Did you make the hat yourself?

Yes :) it was pretty easy to make~ I just used a bunch left over ribbon bits I had laying around.

Here's some of my more recent styling jobs. The lighting is a bit dim on some of these.  >_<

Thanks Moondancer! There was a really great tutorial I used for them that I'd love to link here, but I just can't find it. I'll dig around in my browser history and hopefully it will turn up.  >_<

Edit: Also, before I sign out for the night, I just wanna say your Pinkie Pie looks AMAZING. Wish I had your tinsel-taming skills, hamsteh!

Haha, aww, thankyou! (I guess!) n__n I'm actually pretty new to pony styling!

I'm not really sure how I managed it, but it's lovely and straight. She's a pony I grabbed cheap in a lot from China, I wanted a couple of others from the lot, my bf wanted a couple and I wanted some to rehair. They came, all in nice enough condition but with majorly wacky hair, I decided to experiment on taming Pinkie's hair first. I stuck her on an upturned bowl in the sink, with the tap running cold water beside her, and boiled the kettle. Tipped hot water over her head, then swung the tap over her head afterwards, and repeated a couple of times until it was all flat. Let her air dry, brushing the hair out every so often... Completely expected the tinsel to spring everywhere afterwards, but it never happened. :s
~*  If anyone is gonna try this, it's at your own risk. If you damage your pony it's your responsibility. ; _ ;  *~

I tied her hair up for that picture, cause I was using her to make the dress, but you can see her with her hair loose here:
http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff38/hamsteh/IMG_1416.jpg

Unfortunately, the reason I decided to experiment with *her* was because I'm gonna be chopping her hair off, but now I really don't want to cause it's so straight and her hair is so nice. ; _ ; Especially with the tinsel, it feels so silky. Gonna have to try and get another Pinkie I think, oops. xD I really disliked the tinsel before this, and now I want to keep them all! Lmao
Worst part is, the girl I'm gonna be rehairing her for as a present wanted tinsel in the hair but I refused since I hated the stuff, and told her it's impossible to tame. x__x
