Childhood collection!

Managed to find all of my childhood ponies and take a snapshot of them in the order I received them:

Shortly after getting Sparkle Baby Starflower, I began to consider myself a collector, and the ponies I found while hunting at the thrift store became part of the collection.  So these are really the ponies I climbed trees with, ate pizza with, watched cartoons with... they sure look loved but I would never want to replace them with nicer ponies.

they look in nice condition! congrats for finding them! I found my childhood ponies.. yikes. I still tell my mom all the time: "Why did you even let me have scissors?" as a joke, because some came out with some pretty bad haircuts, lol.

That's awesome, I have all my childhood ponies and the only one (out of a LOT) that  I upgraded was a Banana Surprise, even though I still have the old manky one.

Now i read this and see your pretty girls...and boy!... i'm just a little more a sad pony about giving them all to my niece and know they are there on their attick behind boxes and boxes of junk...because my uncle is a little bit of a hoarder...

Thanks!  My mom has always been my #1 MLP Supporter.  She picked out Powder, Starshine, Butterscotch, Lucky, B. Half Note (w/School of Dance), and Locket for me.  I remember picking the rest out at various toy stores. 

Tell your mom that part of your role as her child is to embarrass her and that she just needs to get over it.  :-p

How cool! I am yet to find all of mine... So far I've only found four. I know they are in my attic somewhere

Alas the only MLP I still have from childhood is my adored and a little tatty Cotton Candy PJ case.

Ahhh I wish but no.  Everyone from before Locket has no tail and chew marks.   There are unremovable stains and cancer all over them.  Only Twirler and the Sparkle Ponies are still in reasonable condition.  I just got a great angle on the photo.

And chew marks = toy love.   I still have Fisher-Price horses with chewed tails and feet, and I loved those things to bits when I was small...
