Morwyn the Dark Unicorn - has a horn from Plastic Curves, the wig I made from a scalped Bratz doll, a painted-on corset with crystals, painted body swirls, face-up, etc.

Oh my gosh, I love both of these sooo much. And that Draculaura is exactly how I wanted to reroot my failed attempt at rehairing Draculaura lol. She is sooooo purdy!

I am loving Morwyn's details!  Beautiful swirls:)  I'm thinking if the right Bratz doll comes along, I might have to give scalping a try!

I tried the scalped Bratz method on Mairin and redid her lips and a bit of her makeup, I still am thinking about redoing her eyes.

Ugh, Kala, stop with all of the unicorns!  It just reminds me that mine needs to be finished.  She is definitely beautiful though, love the use of the skeleton's face mold for her
And I'll add in my custom Grim reaper character Morticia.  I've been meaning to post her in her own thread, but I have yet to take more photos of her or find clothing of her...  Poor gal just runs around in rochelle's shirt and whatever skirt she can get her hands on   As a side note, her rehair was done by the lovely Ravie~  Morticia probably would have sat around unfinished to this day without Ravie's awesome skills!

I've also repainted my Skeleton CaM a little but I think I screwed up her up her eyes. No pictures because I'm skurd to see how awful she looks in pictures

I have always loved your copper Deuce, he looks SO awesome! I love how the werecat looks without the white.  She actually seems to have a personality instead of the normal blank stare.  I also really like your vampire without the fangs, she doesn't look like she is drooling!!

How does one use the scalp method? I have bratz just hanging around with some lovely hair.

I just took an X-acto knife and chopped off basically the top of the Bratz's head - all along the hair line. Then you mash that sucker down on a Monster High head! Secure with glue or, as I prefer, pins (so it's removable).
You might have to make some small cuts along the hair line to get it to sit properly on the MH head.

ETA - also I recommend painting along the edge, wherever the skin of the original doll shows. Just paint to match the hair and you can hardly tell it was ever scalped!

It was a pain in the butt but I managed with hatpins and stuff. I had to hack of a lot to give her bangs and stuff. I'm gonna see if I can redo her eyes. to finish her off. She's had her fins and tentacles dusted and her lips done as well. As soon as I get the right Bratz head I will use it for another CAM ghoul. I need a black one for my Smet, Witch cam-turned-goblin ghoul. I have plans for Bratz dolls and their clothes and now I have another reason to get them for the right hair.
