Anybody got any suggestions for some good techno / raive type music?

I'm getting bored with my stuff, and am after getting my hands on some other stuff. I really love anything that has alot of bass to it, or fast beats, I will listen to just about anything, but the sort of stuff you would hear in a nightclub is generally my taste in music lol.

Anyone got any artists / songs they think are great that I could look in to?

you should check out buzzlife.com

it used to be a friday night party that closed a few years ago, but they still keep their forums going.  they have artists from all over the DC/VA/MD area posting links to their mixes in the music sections.

I used to moderate on that board back when the party was still going - and back then it was not very friendly, so watch out.  it probably has gotten better since my time, but I don't want to send you in unaware.  you can find some really genius mixes if you give it a chance.

as far as actual published artists, I love DJ Icey, Richard Humpty Vission, Hybrid, DJ Dara, Aphrodite, Dieselboy, DJ Skribble, Paul Oakenfold, Timo Maas, Empress, DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, Carl Cox, DJ Irene... just to name a few out of my EDM book

Nobody's said Skrillex?  Well, Skrillex then.  His is a little harder than other techno, but it still good bass.  (Yup, I know it's officially called Dubstep.)

Lol - I just use the blanket term of techno, to me it covers a wide range of genres, but I don't really worry about what is what, good music is good music, and I love the majority of this type of stuff. Its by far my favourite stuff to listen to, it drives everyone else around me nuts, but I can't get enough of it. If im in my car on my own there is nothing better to listen to. Radio puts me to sleep ^^

if you want to be PC about it, the all encompassing term is EDM (electronic dance music).

techno is actually a sub genre, just like DnB, trance, house, etc.
