Google+ Secret Santa

I was just wondering if anyone here plans to take part in the G+ Secret Santa this year. I participated in it last year, and I had a great experience. I almost missed the signup deadline this year, but there are a couple days left to get in on it if you are interested in this sort of thing. The list of wishlists goes live on the 19th.

I think last year was the first year they did it. G+ didn't exist before last year, did it? lol Im not sure.. I just know Im really looking forward to it!

I just joined, but do I have to make a "circle" in the +google? I don't understand that part. Also does it matter what I put on the list?

I am not sure how to link my profile though, and I have it set on high privacy anyway so maybe ppl would get turned off by that.

I still don't understand how it works.  Is everyone who participates shopping for everyone else at random?  So there's a chance you could be buying for tons of people, and no one's buying for you, and vice versa?

From the looks of it, that can totally happen.

I still think it's a lovely concept! It's kind of a "pay it forward" system that allows folks to share their good fortune at random with a chance of getting a surprise or two themselves.
