I don't know if this has been mentioned on the FIM threads yet but today I was at Walmart and they had out an exclusive 12 pack of blind bag sized ponies with 8 of them being G3 characters.

It was $20. They were painted horribly though and I had to sift through to find a pack with paint jobs I liked. In one pack Periwinkle had a white streak through her symbol.

Yup, these have been floating around for a while, but I'm glad they're hitting store shelves! I realy want Waterfire, but she seems to be a popular one so I doubt I'll find anyone willing to part with her. So I guess I'll invest in the set and get going on some blind bag customs, haha.

A few weeks ago, my store had a whole end cap of these. Maybe 40 or so sets? I also had to look through a ton of them to find some with a decent paint.

I have her for sale. I've had her up in my trade and sales threads for quite some time now, I just figured she's not so popular. Waterfire and Dainty Daisy are the only non-main six I have left from the set, but the others sold really fast.

yes yes I swopped of three of these sets as soon as I saw them (and then balked when I realized that's $60!!) because I want one, my wife wants one, and of course our DD will get her set for xmas!

Seascape sure hops high! And Kiwi Tart on the back has no horn...yet on the blind bag figure she has it

On a whim I decided to drive to a Walmart 45 minutes away after work tonight and I got the last one they had left (with some thanks to the lady stocking toys who led me straight to it after I couldn't find it on my own).  I know it was mentioned here a few times, but this set was not in with either the MLP toys (or the Christmas seasonal items).  In this case it was mixed in with the Barbies.

I also picked up the three Walmart issue plush while I was there.  Not really sure I like them yet but this may be the only official plush we get.  I'm really hoping that if these sell decently we'll get some G3 style plush.

Waterfire is one of my fave G3s! I had fun getting her too, she took two months to arrive! Only cost me $2 though so shouldn't complain I guess.
