I would love another summer meet!  I'm sad I didn't get to go to the last one

I thought we weren't hosting the parties in our homes for safety reasons?
If that's changed, I'm more than willing to host in my home to make it a little easier on our OR peeps   I might not be able to run things because of my baby, but I can open my home; provided no one is allergic to cats or dogs!

You're right Painted Hooves, we decided not to host in homes for safety reasons. When I hosted the craft day last we did it at my local Library, which has a great room for parties/gatherings, or we also did our general pony meet last time at the Maple Valley Library. Library meeting rooms are nice becuase they are free, someone just has to reserve it.

The Maple Valley Library is beautiful and the room was big!  I don't know of any Seattle-area library that would be suitable, but it would ne nice if the location was easily bus-able from downtown, so maybe the Bellevue library??  Or were we thinking of going to Oregon this time?

I wad just thinking of this meet a few minutes ago. Should we set a date and then a location based on who is coming?

My only request is that it not be on Sunday (which I guess it can't be anyway if we use a library).

It might be a good idea to check online which libraries have a room available, some of them book up really fast especially in the summer.

Oh, that's right! I almost forgot about the white elephant ponies! Too bad I hadn't done mine before baby comes.

Do we have a general timeline that people prefer? I am open to pretty much anytime May to mid August.

Thanks for changing the first thread, Galactica! (Can you change the thread title? It still says August 10th)

So, here's what I understand to be happening at this party:

Summertime? (Does a Saturday work best for everyone? There is June 7, 14, 21, 28; July 12, 19, 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)(I think we should work on nailing down a date, then work on reserving a place)
